FLOODING IN KRASNODAR REGION

  Due to the flooding that occurred in Krasnodar region (Krymsk town) during the night of 7 July 2012, N.I. Vavilov All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Industry reports that the Kuban Experiment station, its genebank, as well as Krymsk Experiment Station, formerly a part of the Institute, with its collections of vegetables, legumes, fruit and berry crops were not damaged by flood, as both trial fields and technical facilities of the stations are located upland. Currently the staff of the stations is working as usual.
