Diagnosis: By var. villaroella distinctions from Guapa are the following: less dissected leaves, stems of the flower stalk form an acute angle, anthers are smaller, corolla lobes are long, stigma is not bifurcated, bigger, sometimes protruding from the flower bud.
Tubers are red, round, flat.
Pedicel above articulation is green 1-10 mm long (longer than by Guapa?), pubescence is short or medium-long, staring, the articulation is colored.
Calyx is of an avarage size, similar to Guapa, symmetric, acumens are short, about one fourth of calyx length. Flowering occurs later than by Guapa.
Corolla is purple with a short yellowish star and small white tips at the bottom, the lobes are wide, 15-17-18 mm wide by corolla radius 15-18 mm, the length of lobe is 9-10 mm and the length of acumen is 3 mm.
Stamen filaments are rather thick, 900-1250 micr. thick (3/64 inches) on young flowers, sometimes hardly thinner than by Guapa, long, yellow, straight. Stamen columne is slightly conical. Stigma is high, flattened, sinus is small. Forms berries.
Is cultivated on Chiloe, in Mechaico and Quetalmahue under the name Villaroella.
