S.̀. Bukasov. Potatoes of South America and their breeding use, Leningrad, 1933, p. 84

Diagnosis: White corolla. Stamen filaments 900 – 1200 microns thick , style 510 - 630 micrones, papillae 40 - 45 microns.
Close to chilotanum by short pubescence and pedicels, not recurved mucronules and shape of calyx, narrow flower buds and other characters. Remontant.
Distinctions from E.Rose, with which it is being compared as with a albiflorous variety, are the following.
Leaf is strongly dissected. Strong samples have up to 6-7 pairs of leaflets. In the end series there are 2 pairs of primary leaflets, in the first series- 3 basiscopic pairs, 2 basiscopic pairs of secondary leaflets, 2 acroscopic pairs. Pubescence of pedicel (not mucronules) is shorter, pubescence of calyx is more staring, the flower bud is narrower, mucronules are accumbent or distant. Corolla star is less yellow. Stamen filaments are almost straight, longer and thinner (but not a style). Anthers are narrower, but with a stronger degeneration. Ovary is bigger and higher, stigma is smaller.
Distincitions from enode: uncoloured articulation, shorter pubescence, yellow anthers, small, filaments and styles are thin.
Grown in Puerto Montt and Quetalmahue, sometimes imported from  Mailler Island, which apparentlu explains one of the indigenous names "Rosada importada".
