S.Ě. Bukasov. Potatoes of South America and their breeding use, Leningrad, 1933, p. 88 Diagnosis: Tubers are flat-oval, smooth, pink under the skin, with small irregular purple spots. Corolla lobes are not sloping, style is relatively thicker, 650 micr., papillae are 30-60 micr. Filaments are 1200-1350 micr. thick. Corolla radius is 16 mm, lobe 8 mm, acumen 3 mm. Glossy leaves. Susceptible to late blight. This is apparently an early form, which is indicated by the name - "Siete semanas", which means in Spanish “seven-weeks-long”. |
