Diagnosis: Has got common characters with Beruntun. Tubers are elongate, white with blue eyes.
Stem is decumbent, leaflets are wide, articulation is colored, corolla is big, Stamens filaments are long, straight, anther column is slightly conic (at first straight?), style is thick, stigma is big, tapered, with a weakly noticeable linear sinus and two light points on the apex.
Berries are globular. Tuberization among andigenum is good.
Cultivated in the dep. Cuzco: Ccoran, Poroy and Ppisac.
Indigenous names.: Cuchillo-ppaqui ("breaking knife"), Cuculi-cintura.

Sexual progeny ¹1237 (4 accessions ) was relatively homogenous. A thick long upper part of pedicle is constant, slightly conic column and a thick style. The form of stigma described for the type dominates.
Corolla color varies towards more lilac and more blue shade (the star is half-light or brown) and anther size varies. |
