Diagnosis: Tubers are skewed, rounded, flat, red, speckled, with clearly bounded, always well-expressed big not colored areas near the eyes.
Stem after efflorescence is decumbent (different from Ckello-huacotto). Stem is intensively colored (in nutritious conditions the color is weak).

The leaf has wide lobes, differently from Ñkellî, leaf is 5-paired, with 2-3 pairs of primary leaflets in a series. Up to 1 pair of secondary leaflets, strongly basiscopic, like the primary leaflets, 1-2 pairs of acroscopic leaflets, pretty large.
Pedicle and calyx are usually intensively colored, calyx acumens are outstanding, calyx in a bud is with an outstanding short pubescence.
Corolla is lilac with a dark star, petals are big (differently from Ñkello-huacotto). It closes earlier, like Beruntun and Ccusi. Stamen filaments are short. Anthers are about 6 mm long, in a tight oval column (differently Ñkello). Style is slightly inclined, stigma is not big, wide, low. Berries are numerous.
Tuber yield is bigger, than by Beruntun, Ccompis and a number of other Peruvians.
Cultivated in dep. Cuzco: Ppisacc (Juz. ¹ 994), Yuncai-pampa (Juz. ¹ 1231), Ccoran (Juz. ¹ 12471), Tampu-machai (Juz. ¹¹ 1298, 1305), Huaypun (Juz. 1229, 1045).
Indigenous names: alcca huiruru, huairuru, ppalca-huairuru, ppalta papa.
Sexual progeny: ¹1305 segregates very weakly, only in characters of anthocyan color.
