S. andigenum Juz. et Buk. var. aymaranum Buk. et Lechn. f. basiscopum Buk. et Lechn.

S.M. Bukasov. Potatoes of South America and their breeding use, Leningrad, 1933, p. 69.

Diagnosis: Has got characters common with v. aymaranum and f. incrassatum, assuming the proposition about it origin as a hybrid of these forms.
Pedicle length above articulation is big, about 25 mm, above articulation it is small, about 6 mm.
Corolla radius is 23 mm, length of petal is 11 mm, acumen 5 mm. Berries are oval, numerous.
Similarity to v. aymaranum: nature of pedicle and calyx, color of corolla and star, apparently, short pubescence of acumens, arcuate and chinked anther column, small stigma.
Difference from v. aymaranum: nature of leaf – clearly basiscopic, sometimes up to the second pair of primary leaflets (half-basiscopic), acroscopic up to 3 pairs. Pubescence is slightly longer, especially on pedicle and calyx, and also on the corolla. Anthers are big, 7,5 mm long.
Ñ bolivianum and incrassatum are similar in leaf, position of pedicle articulation (like by incrassatum), size (of the flower?).
Differences from incrassatum: shorter corolla petals, arcuate anthers.
Differences from v. longibaccatum: size of corolla and petal and shape of anthers column.
